Attention to all individuals with the name Kyle! The City of Kyle is extending an invitation to participate in breaking the world record.

In Kyle, Texas, the city is attempting to set a new Guinness World Record by gathering as many people named Kyle as possible within its city limits. The event is taking place on May 18th at the Kyle Fair, and it’s open to anyone with the first name “Kyle” spelled exactly that way.

Those interested in participating must register online or in person at the Kyle Fair. To be eligible for the record-breaking attempt, participants must provide proof of their first name “Kyle.” Variations of the name, such as Kyler, Kyal, or Kylee, will not be accepted. Middle names, last names, and nicknames also do not qualify for participation.

City officials are hoping to surpass the current record held in Bosnia where 2325 individuals named Ivan gathered in 2017. Last year’s “Gathering of the Kyles” event in Kyle brought together 1490 participants from across the country.

The Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza will run from May 17th to May 19th at Lake Kyle Park. The fair features live music, food trucks, margarita judging, rib judging and other activities. Admission to the fair is free for all attendees.
