The event saw 20 individuals and five teams receive awards dedicated to this purpose. Shen Yiqin, Chinese State Councilor and president of the All-China Women’s Federation, graced the occasion with her presence.

The award, established in 2004, has so far honored 204 outstanding women in the science sector. It serves as a platform to recognize and support the contributions of young female scientists towards scientific advancements in China. The event highlighted the crucial role that women play in shaping the future of science and technology in the country.
