During his visit to Scranton, his hometown, Mr. Biden criticized Mr. Trump’s wealth and inherited fortune, contrasting it with his own background. The ad featuring Mr. Burgess will run on television and digital platforms, aiming to reach a wide audience across the state.
As the first Black mayor of Washington, Pa., Mr. Burgess is a prominent supporter of Mr. Biden and has accompanied the president to the State of the Union address
