Brandon Jones secures pole position in Dover Xfinity race

Riley Herbst qualified for the front row of the Xfinity race at Dover Motor Speedway on Friday, just behind Brandon Jones who secured his third career pole. Herbst expressed frustration after qualifying, questioning the rules of passing during the race. Justin Allgaier and Austin Hill also qualified for the race, with Allgaier finishing in third place and Hill in fourth. Sheldon Creed secured fifth place while Kyle Weatherman achieved a career-best sixth place.

Other drivers competing for the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus include Jesse Love, Ryan Sieg, and Anthony Alfredo. The Xfinity race is set to begin at 1:47 p.m. on Saturday on FS1. This race at Dover marks the 78th time Xfinity teams have competed at this venue.

Brandon Jones secured his third career Xfinity pole at Dover Motor Speedway on Friday with a lap of 156.863 mph, marking his 10th career series pole.

Riley Herbst had an impressive finish last week at Talladega and is competing for the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus.

Justin Allgaier qualified in third place with 156.672 mph, followed by Austin Hill in fourth with 156.060 mph.

Sheldon Creed secured fifth place at 155.851 mph, while Kyle Weatherman achieved a career-best sixth place at 155.689 mph.

The Xfinity race is set to begin at 1:47 p.m. on Saturday on FS1.

This race marks the 78th time Xfinity teams have competed at Dover Motor Speedway.
