Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff addresses small business support and reproductive rights during visit to Atlanta

In Atlanta, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff recently visited Sublime Doughnuts in Midtown to discuss supporting small business owners with owner Kamal Grant. During their conversation, Grant highlighted the challenges faced by small business owners, particularly those in the Black community, where access to capital is limited.

Later, Emhoff participated in a roundtable discussion on reproductive rights with young voters and members of Men 4 Choice at The Gathering Spot in northwest Atlanta. DeVon Lewis expressed his concerns about his children’s future and the changing political landscape in America.

The visit from Emhoff is part of the Biden administration’s efforts to engage with voters in battleground states such as Georgia. In recent weeks, former President Donald Trump has also visited Atlanta, making it a focal point for political engagement.

Emhoff’s visit comes ahead of President Joe Biden’s upcoming commencement speech at Morehouse College. The Biden administration is actively seeking to connect with voters and engage in meaningful discussions on important issues facing the community.
