Caitlin Clark will make her WNBA debut in Texas

The hype surrounding the WNBA is at an all-time high, especially with this year’s draft class promising to bring increased viewership to the league. Fans eagerly anticipate the first games of the season, and the Dallas Wings are no exception.

The WNBA’s first overall draft pick, Iowa guard Caitlin Clark, has been garnering attention, and her new team, the Indiana Fever, will face off against the Dallas Wings in Arlington for their first preseason game. Originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m., the game has now been moved to prime time, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. on May 3 at College Park Center.

In addition to Clark, more college stars are making their WNBA debut in Dallas. The Wings will kick off the regular season at home on May 15 at 7 p.m. against the Chicago Sky, who drafted LSU forward Angel Reese at No. 7. Tickets for individual games will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 18 on the Dallas Wings’ website.

The game on May 3 will also feature programming focused on education and sportsmanship. Administrators and teachers interested in bringing their classes to the game can email tickets@dallaswings.com for discounted tickets
