These Connecticut High Schools Rank in Top 3% Nationally, Says U.S. News & World Report

Two Connecticut high schools, Conard High School and Hall High School in West Hartford, have been recognized for their excellence by being named in the top 3% of all high schools in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report 2024 list. This prestigious acknowledgment marks a significant improvement for both schools, with Hall jumping from No. 11 last year to their current ranking of No. 6 among all public high schools in Connecticut, while Conard remained at No. 10.

The U.S. News & World Report list highlights the best high schools in the country and has solidified the reputation of these two Connecticut schools as exceptional educational institutions. In addition to their national rankings, both schools were also recognized as top high schools in the state of Connecticut.

According to a recent press release, Superintendent Paul Vicinus of West Hartford expressed his pride and gratitude for the dedicated teachers and staff at both schools who have contributed to this achievement. He emphasized the importance of quality PK-12 programming across all schools in the district and highlighted the commitment of teachers to make a positive impact on every student’s educational journey.
