New features added to Logic Pro on iPad and Mac enable music creation with artificial intelligence

Apple has recently released new versions of its Logic Pro software for both iPad and Mac, bringing significant advancements to the creative process. The updated Logic Pro includes cutting-edge features powered by artificial intelligence, allowing musicians to achieve a personalized musical experience while maintaining complete artistic control.

One of the new features is Session Player, which expands on the popular Drummer function by introducing Bass Player and Keyboard Player options. These AI-generated virtual musicians can adjust their playing based on feedback, providing a customized musical experience. The Bass Player offers various style and intensity options, while the Keyboard Player can switch between simple block chords and complex harmonic expressions.

Another feature, Stem Splitter, allows artists to separate and manipulate individual components of audio recordings for refining old tracks or exploring new creative possibilities. Additionally, ChromaGlow uses AI to add warmth and depth to audio tracks, offering multiple saturation options for finding the perfect tone for each composition.

The iPad version of Logic Pro transforms the device into a portable recording studio optimized for touch interfaces and capable of managing complex projects with the power of Apple chips. Meanwhile, the Mac version offers advanced features for professional studio-level production.

The Mac version of Logic Pro (version 11) will be available on May 13 as a free update for existing users or for €229.99 for new buyers. The iPad version (version 2) will also be available at the same time as either a free update or monthly subscription of €4.99 or an annual subscription of €49. Both versions require Apple’s latest operating systems to function properly.

In summary, Apple has introduced new versions of its Logic Pro software with significant advancements that enhance the creative process using AI technology while still allowing complete artistic control. The updated software includes new features such as Session Player, Stem Splitter, and ChromaGlow that offer unique musical experiences and help artists refine their work or explore new creative possibilities.
