CFO of Wolverine World Wide to Step Down, Successor Announced

Taryn Miller has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of Wolverine World Wide, Inc., a parent company of footwear and apparel brands. She will be taking over from Michael D. Stornant, who is retiring after nearly 30 years with the company.

Miller brings more than 25 years of financial experience to the position and will report to Chris Hufnagel, the company’s president and CEO. In her most recent role, she was VP of corporate and commercial finance at Corteva Agriscience, an international agriculture company. Before that, she served as CFO of global business units, enterprise FP&A, and investor relations at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. She also held various financial leadership roles at Kraft Heinz Company.

Hufnagel expressed excitement about Miller joining the executive team, noting her extensive financial experience and leadership qualities. The company is grateful for Stornant’s contributions over his nearly three decades of service in various senior roles.

Wolverine World Wide is based in Rockford, Michigan, and includes popular brands like Merrell, Saucony, Hush Puppies, and Wolverine in its portfolio. The company is also the global footwear licensee for brands such as Cat and Harley-Davidson. Miller stated that she is honored to be taking on the CFO role during a critical period in the company’s long history and looks forward to driving transformation and maximizing opportunities for growth.

Stornant’s retirement marks the end of an era for Wolverine World Wide as it embarks on a new chapter with Miller leading its finance department. The company’s portfolio includes some of the most well-known footwear brands in the industry such as Merrell, Saucony, Hush Puppies and Wolverine.

With more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting roles in different industries such as agriculture and consumer goods companies like Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Kraft Heinz Company respectively; Miller has proven herself as a seasoned professional capable of delivering results through effective financial strategies.

In her new role at Wolverine Worldwide Inc., Taryn will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to drive growth opportunities while maintaining tight control on costs to increase profitability.

As she takes up her new responsibilities at one of Michigan’s largest companies; Taryn looks forward to contributing her skills to help steer the organization through this exciting period of growth while ensuring sustainable performance into the future.
