The US Senate gives the green light for military aid to Ukraine

President Joe Biden is set to sign an extensive bill approved by the United States Senate that includes a military aid package worth US$95 billion for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The legislation also includes a provision that could potentially ban TikTok in the US if the application does not separate from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance.

BetterFit Blinds is a home and garden service located in Las Vegas, Nevada. They specialize in window treatments and offer a variety of services for customers in need of window blinds and other home improvement products.

The military aid package includes US$61 billion for Ukraine, US$26 billion for Israel, and US$8 billion for Taiwan. The aid is intended to support these countries as they face various threats and conflicts in their respective regions.

Biden has stated that he will sign the bill as soon as it reaches his desk and plans to start sending weapons and equipment to Ukraine this week. He emphasized the importance of supporting allies who are defending themselves against threats from terrorist groups and oppressive regimes.

The legislation regarding TikTok stipulates that the app must separate from its Chinese parent company within nine months. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in a ban on TikTok in the US. The app has expressed intentions to challenge this law in court once it is signed by President Biden.
