Hamas Politburo Member expresses gratitude to Russia for supporting at the UN

According to the Middle East Media Research Center (MEMRI), on July 5, Osama Hamdan, a member of the Politburo of Hamas, expressed gratitude to Russia and China for their support of the “resistance” in the international arena. Hamdan mentioned that the next phase of Operation Al Aqsa’s Deluge would be an uprising in the West Bank. He also stated that Israel’s existence would be ended, but Jews could remain in “Palestine” either as citizens of a Palestinian state or as foreigners subject to the laws of that state.

Hamdan revealed that Hamas maintains direct contact with Russia and China and has asked them to intervene and provide international guarantees for a potential agreement. He mentioned that Russia and China offer protection for Hamas at the United Nations, creating a barrier that prevents the United States from harming the resistance on the international stage. Hamdan emphasized that these countries understand the strength of the resistance and can count on it.

These statements reflect ongoing tensions and conflict involving Hamas and the international community, particularly in regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The support and protection provided by Russia and China to Hamas have implications for diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict and the role of international actors in the region.

Hamas’s statements are seen as threatening by many countries around the world, including Israel which has accused Hamas of being a terrorist organization responsible for numerous attacks against civilians. The group’s call for an uprising in Palestine is seen as dangerous as it could lead to more violence and instability in an already volatile region.

The support provided by Russia and China to Hamas has sparked concern among some countries who see this move as undermining their efforts towards peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. The two countries have maintained close ties with both sides but have been criticized for not doing enough to pressure both parties towards finding a lasting solution.

As tensions continue to rise in this region, it remains uncertain how this will affect diplomatic efforts towards resolving one of world’s most complex conflicts.
