Georgia Softball Dominates Kennesaw State with a 10-1 Victory | Georgia Sports

The Georgia softball team dominated a 10-1 victory over Kennesaw State, with nine runs scored in the first two innings. This was a significant improvement from their previous game, where they had only four runs and five hits.

Leading the charge was Madison Kearney, who hit a two-run home run in the first inning. Sydney Chambley and Sara Mosley also contributed to the scoring with their own home runs. Despite a fielder error that allowed Kennesaw State to score in the first inning, the Bulldogs pitching staff performed well. Starter Shelby Walters earned the win after pitching for two innings, allowing three hits and striking out two batters.

The Bulldogs used four pitchers in total, who only allowed four hits and three walks while striking out five batters. Georgia showcased a deep roster, with 15 different players seeing playing time compared to only eight players for Kennesaw State. After a successful away stretch, Georgia will return home to face No. 20 Arkansas in their upcoming SEC series on Saturday, March 30th at noon.
