Matt Boldy from the Wild has been selected to represent the U.S. national team at the world championships, with John Hynes serving as the coach.

Matt Boldy of the Wild has been selected to represent the United States at the World Ice Hockey Championships, which will take place from May 10-16 in the Czech Republic. The team will be led by John Hynes, who is also the coach of the Wild.

The 15-player roster includes Boldy, Alex Vlasic and Seth Jones from Chicago, Shane Pinto and Brady Tkachuk from Ottawa, Zach Werenski from Columbus, Luke Kunin from San Jose, Dylan Larkin from Detroit, Johnny Gaudreau from Columbus, Cole Caufield from Montreal, Alex Lyon from Detroit, Luke Hughes from New Jersey, Jake Sanderson from Ottawa and Joel Farabee from Philadelphia.

Unfortunately for Brock Faber of the Wild, he suffered a fractured ribs at the end of the season and was not selected to be part of the team. The remaining spots on the roster may be filled by players eliminated in the first round of playoffs.

The World Ice Hockey Championships are set to be an exciting event as teams representing different countries come together to compete for supremacy on ice. With such a talented group of players leading by coach John Hynes, Team USA is looking forward to making a strong showing in this international tournament.
