Bailey leaves game against Phillies due to vision problems

On Friday, during the Giants’ game against the Philadelphia Phillies, catcher Patrick Bailey was forced to leave the game in the second inning after experiencing blurry vision. He is currently being evaluated for the issue. It appears that the injury occurred after Bailey was hit by a foul ball off the bat of Phillies’ Alec Bohm in the first inning.

Following Bailey’s departure, veteran catcher Tom Murphy took his place on the field. Before exiting, Bailey had walked and scored a run in his only plate appearance of the game. The Giants are closely monitoring Bailey’s condition and waiting for further updates on his status.
