Hubble Marks its 34th Anniversary with Images of the Little Dumbbell Nebula

For over thirty years, the Hubble Space Telescope has remained at the forefront of astronomical research, making remarkable discoveries that contribute to our knowledge of the universe. This groundbreaking project is a collaborative effort between NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).

The Hubble Space Telescope is managed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, which is responsible for mission operations. Supporting the mission operations at Goddard is Lockheed Martin Space, a company based in Denver, Colorado. This partnership allows the Hubble Space Telescope to continue its mission of exploring the wonders of the cosmos and expanding our understanding of the universe.

In addition to mission operations, the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, plays a key role in conducting science operations for Hubble on behalf of NASA. This partnership allows for continued scientific research and discovery through the Hubble Space Telescope.
