Simon Acumen, a brand new imprint of Simon Element, is now launching.

Simon Acumen, a new business imprint by Simon Element, has been launched with the goal of helping readers navigate the ever-changing world of work. The imprint will be led by Richard Rhorer and Stephanie Hitchcock, with Kimberly Meilun joining as an editor from Hachette Book Group’s PublicAffairs imprint.

The launch of Simon Acumen comes at a time when readers are seeking guidance on how to achieve success and purpose in their professional lives. With rapid technological advancements and cultural shifts influencing the way we work, readers are looking for thought leaders, innovators, academics, journalists, and others who can offer fresh insights and practical advice.

Simon Acumen aims to publish 15-20 books annually, focusing on providing readers with the tools they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced business environment. The imprint’s debut title is “Cryptomania” by Andrew Chow, a tech reporter for Time Magazine set for release on August 6th. Other upcoming titles include works by authors such as Wharton professor Matthew Bidwell, Pam Manfredo Curtis, John Richardson, Attia Qureshi, Dartmouth professor Gail Ayala Taylor and Jamie Trull.

Simon & Schuster’s president and CEO Jonathan Karp expressed enthusiasm for the imprint and stated the company’s commitment to being a leader in the business book category. “We are thrilled to launch Simon Acumen,” he said. “With its focus on helping readers navigate the ever-changing world of work and its commitment to publishing top quality content by leading experts in their fields, Simon Acumen is poised to become a key player in the business book market.”
