The Jerez Sprint Race saw several riders receive post-race penalties for low tire pressure, including Fabio Quartararo, Raul Fernandez, Fabio di Giannantonio, Jack Miller, and Alex Rins. These penalties have had a significant impact on the 2024 MotoGP World Championship standings, with some riders dropping positions and others moving up.

Jorge Martin continues to lead the championship with 92 points, followed closely by Pedro Acosta in second with 63 points. Enea Bastianini has dropped to third with 59 points, while Maverick Viñales and Francesco Bagnaia round out the top five with 56 and 50 points respectively.

Brad Binder, Marc Marquez, Aleix Espargaro, Fabio di Giannantonio, and Fabio Quartararo complete the top ten in the standings. Jack Miller, Marco Bezzecchi, Miguel Oliveira, Alex Marquez, and Augusto Fernandez are also among the top 15 riders in the championship.
