Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball is heading to the NAIA National Tournament after winning the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend. Despite facing challenges in the final weeks leading up to the tournament, losing five of six games, the Eagles pulled through and emerged victorious. This was an impressive turnaround for the team and a must-win scenario for them.

Head coach Kirk Kelly praised his team for their ability to handle pressure during the tournament. The NAIA Baseball Tournament Selection Show will take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page. Oklahoma Wesleyan will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, where they will need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

It has been an exciting journey for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament. The team faced numerous challenges throughout the season but was able to overcome them and come out on top. They have proven their resilience and determination, and are now ready to take on whatever comes their way in the national tournament.
