Axe throwers aim for bullseye at World Championships

Michael Barton of Houston, Texas, first tried axe throwing five years ago and initially struggled with it. Despite the initial difficulties, Barton persevered and today he is headed back to the World Axe Throwing Championships alongside his practice partners from Hurling Hatchets.

Barton’s doubles partners, Jorge Sanchez and Chris Kendig, have also made significant progress and are feeling confident about their chances at the upcoming championships in Tulsa. They believe that the key to throwing an axe with accuracy lies in hard work, practice, and mastering the technique.

As they prepare for the World Championships, Barton, Sanchez, and Kendig are ready to showcase the skills they have honed over the years and demonstrate their passion for the sport. With determination and focus, they are looking forward to making their mark on the competitive axe throwing scene.
