Cleveland Clinic introduces a new Women’s Comprehensive Health and Research Center.

Cleveland Clinic has recently launched a new Women’s Comprehensive Health and Research Center, aimed at providing specialized care for middle-aged and older women. The center will focus on several key areas including access, connectivity, education, research, and innovation to empower women in their health journey with confidence and clarity. With over 63 million women in the U.S. being 50 years old or older, the center aims to address the needs of aging women, with around 6,000 women starting menopause daily.

Maria Shriver has been appointed as the chief visionary and strategic advisor of the center. Shiver is well known for founding The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement Prevention and Research Center at the Cleveland Clinic, which now serves patients across the state. The new center will offer specialty care in areas such as behavioral health, breast health, cardiovascular care, infant and maternal health, endocrinology, weight management, menopause, osteoporosis, metabolic bone density, wellness, and disease prevention.
