California Classic Summer League Returns for Sixth Year with Warriors and Kings as Hosts – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

The NBA’s California Classic is returning this summer with a new format, featuring the Kings and Warriors hosting an expanded dual event in Sacramento and San Francisco. The event will take place at Golden 1 Center on July 6, 7, and 9, featuring the Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. On the other hand, Chase Center will host events on July 6, 7, and 10 with the Warriors, Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat.

The event will showcase rookies from the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, sophomore players, and others looking to make NBA and G League rosters. A total of 12 games will be played at both venues. The final game will be between the Warriors and Kings on July 10 at Chase Center.

Modified game play rules will be in place for the summer league games.
