Cowboys part ways with wide receiver Martavis Bryant

Martavis Bryant, who was suspended from the NFL in 2018, has been released by the Dallas Cowboys. Despite signing a futures deal with the team after spending time on the practice squad, Bryant has not seen any game action with Dallas. The last time Bryant played in the NFL was in 2018 with the Raiders, where he caught 19 passes for 266 yards in eight games. Originally drafted by the Steelers in 2014, Bryant’s comeback journey will now continue with another team.

Bryant’s release from the Cowboys may have opened up opportunities for him to sign with other teams in the league. According to reports, other teams are expected to show interest in signing Bryant, who is looking to make a return to the field after a hiatus from the league. The Cowboys have also brought in veteran receiver Zay Jones for a visit, possibly as a replacement for Bryant on the roster.

While his time with the Cowboys may have come to an end, Bryant’s talent and potential continue to draw interest from other teams in the league who are looking to add depth to their receiving corps. With his speed and athleticism on the field, Bryant is considered one of the most promising wide receivers in the league and could be a valuable asset for any team that signs him.
