Kim Koro ʼ86 (JD), a member of the USD Board of Trustees, has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Technology by Technology Magazine for 2024.

Kim Koro, a 1986 graduate of the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law, has been recognized as one of the 2024 Top 100 Women in Technology by Technology Magazine. This prestigious list celebrates influential leaders and pioneers in the tech industry who are driving innovation, investment, and supporting underrepresented groups.

With over three decades of experience at Qualcomm, Inc., Koro currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV). In this role, she works with government agencies at all levels to apply commercial wireless technology advancements for mission performance improvements. Her leadership is focused on fostering innovation in public-private partnerships and helping the U.S. Government stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies.

Koro’s work with QGOV involves collaboration with the U.S. Government on projects related to advanced connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing. Apart from her professional achievements, Koro is actively involved in the USD community. In 2020, she received the USD School of Law’s Distinguished Alumni Award and along with her husband established endowed scholarships to support law students with financial need and exceptional character.

Overall, Koro is committed to paving the way for future generations of women in technology and supporting initiatives that drive progress and innovation in the industry.
