The Iowa High School Sports Awards, presented by SCHEELS, has announced the nominees for Girls Basketball Player of the Year. This award is sponsored by Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company and is part of a nationwide program that recognizes student-athletes over nine months, culminating in a red-carpet event this spring.
The show celebrates athletes, coaches, and teams from across the state involved in sanctioned Iowa high school sports. At the live show, these nominees will be acknowledged along with players of the year in 21 other sports.
