The Helsinki Stock Exchange closed higher on Tuesday

The Helsinki Stock Exchange’s general index rose by 0.4 percent to 9978.25 points at the end of trading. The most traded stock of the day was Nordea Bank, which saw its share price increase by 1.8 percent to 11.26 euros. Many other stocks also experienced an upward trend in their share prices, with Pharmaceutical company Faron Pharmaceuticals experiencing the largest increase, rising by 10.3 percent to 1.54 euros. Information security company Withsecure and measuring equipment company Vaisala also saw gains of 5.3 percent and 4.8 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Betolar, a concrete company, saw its share price drop by 9.5 percent to 1.05 euros at the close of trading.

In other news, food company Fodelia announced the sale of businesses related to its Perniön Liha brand and Helsingin Makkaratehdas brand. Fodelia’s share price ended the day up by 4.0 percent at 5.20 euros.

IT company Digital Workforce Services secured a significant order worth 2.7 million euros from the United States.

Blade company Do updated its long-term financial goals to focus on faster growth and higher profitability.

Packaging manufacturer Huhtamäki revealed plans to close its manufacturing facility in Malaysia, resulting in 93 job losses.

Customer information company Withsomething announced a share buyback program.
