4-year-old Bryan Patrick aims to break record as youngest author with debut book

Bryan Patrick, a four-year-old from New Bern, North Carolina, is on a mission to become the world’s youngest author. His journey began when his parents, both educators, noticed his exceptional fascination with letters at a young age. Bryan was able to spell words like “axolotl,” showcasing a unique talent for language.

With the help of his parents, Bryan created an alphabet garden in their backyard where each letter corresponds to a specific plant. Eleanor mentioned that this journey was not planned but was inspired by Bryan’s ideas. Despite being in preschool, Bryan has already mastered skills typically taught to older children such as reading fluently and knowing letter sounds. He even progressed to multiplying and dividing at such an early age.

However, this advanced ability has presented challenges for his parents in determining an appropriate grade level for him. They emphasize that Bryan’s achievements have largely been due to his self-teaching and natural curiosity. Each night, Bryan would spend time typing out the alphabet on the computer before moving on to sentences and eventually completing an entire book in just one month.

To claim the title of the world’s youngest author, Bryan must sell 1,000 copies of his book. In order to support this goal, his family is hosting a book launch party in New Bern on [insert date]. While another four-year-old currently holds the title, with community support behind him, it could be possible for Brian to break this record and set a new one for himself.

Bryan’s story is truly remarkable and inspiring. It shows that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible – even becoming the world’s youngest author at just four years old!
