Top Dallas-Fort Worth CEOs Discuss Their Most Difficult Business Obstacles

As a journalist, I have rewritten the article to create a unique and fresh perspective. Here is my version:

Business challenges come in all shapes and sizes, and can be different for each individual. However, one thing remains constant: the need to address them when they arise. For those in the business world, challenges are an inevitable part of the journey that cannot be avoided.

To gain insight into the toughest challenges that Dallas executives have faced in their careers, we asked them to share their experiences. Elizabeth Blau, the Founder and CEO of Blau + Associates, discussed the gender inequity she encountered in the restaurant industry in 2019. This led her to co-found the Women’s Hospitality Initiative, which aims to support and advance women leaders in the industry. Through her initiative, she is working towards creating a more inclusive and diverse environment in the culinary world.

Josh Irving, Co-Founder and CEO of I&A Agave Spirits, highlighted the importance of understanding employee motivation in maintaining a passionate team. He emphasized the need to continuously engage with employees to keep them motivated and focused on company goals. Henry Woodruff, Managing Director of EPIQ Capital Group shared his experience of helping establish the company in 2018. Being part of the founding team and building a company from scratch was demanding but rewarding for him. Despite facing intense days and challenging weeks, he found it an incredibly enriching and educational journey looking back after one year he saw progress they had made and were motivated to continue growing momentum.

Overall, these executives faced different types of challenges but managed to overcome them by keeping employees engaged
