Meeting Between Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott’s Representative Reported

Ezekiel Elliott, a standout player who spent seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before becoming a free agent in 2023, is currently in talks with the team’s agent. The Cowboys are interested in reunion with Elliott, as ESPN previously reported.

After holding out for a new contract in 2019 and eventually signing a deal that kept him with the Cowboys through the 2022 season, Elliott played a year with the New England Patriots. However, he is now looking for a new team to call home. During his time with the Cowboys, Elliott was a standout player, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. His best season came in his rookie year when he rushed for 1,631 yards and scored 16 total touchdowns. Despite declining performance in recent years, with only one 1,000-yard season since 2019, Elliott’s potential return to the Cowboys is generating excitement among fans.
