Inspiring the Future: Future Innovators Science Fair for the Next Generation of Scientists

On March 21st, 2024, McGill’s Chemistry Outreach Group participated in the Real Ventures Future Innovators Science Fair at the Royal Charles Elementary School. They were among other STEM experts and educators who joined forces to inspire students.

Through collaborations like this one, Real Ventures aims to increase diversity in STEM and encourage youth from all backgrounds to see themselves as future leaders in the field of science. By empowering young minds and providing opportunities for hands-on learning, the program strives to make a lasting impact on the next generation of innovators.

During the science fair, Paty Garcia, a member of the Chemistry Outreach group, shared her personal journey with students, reflecting on how her educational journey influenced her perception of women in STEM fields and motivating her to pursue a career in science. Her captivating story inspired many young minds to explore their own potential in STEM fields.
