1,260 development projects in Cairo funded with 96 billion pounds

As part of the 2023-2024 plan, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has allocated 96 billion pounds to implement 1,260 development projects in Cairo Governorate. This investment is aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Plan and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The Citizen’s Investment Plan for Cairo Governorate is a proactive approach by the Ministry to raise awareness about the directions and priorities of the Sustainable Development Plan. By involving local communities in decision-making processes, the Ministry aims to ensure that development projects meet the needs of the people.

In a report on the Citizen’s Investment Plan for Cairo Governorate, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasized the need for balanced regional development to be achieved through community engagement. The Minister highlighted that community participation is crucial in ensuring successful sustainable development initiatives at the local level.
