Aon Swing 5 and Next 10 golfers confirmed for Wells Fargo Championship

Taylor Pendrith secured his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, making it a memorable day for him. Following closely behind, Ben Kohles and Alex Noren finished in second and third place, respectively, at TPC Craig Ranch. The top five players who accumulated the most points from the Corales Puntacana Championship, Zurich Classic, and Nelson were Pendrith, Kohles, Noren, Billy Horschel, and Kevin Tway.

Players who have won one of these tournaments qualify through the Swing 5 or Next 10 categories. Shane Lowry moved into the top 10 with his victory at Zurich with Rory McIlroy. Ludvig Åberg joined players like Matthieu Pavon and Justin Thomas in the current rankings. The Aon Next 10 category saw minimal changes from the previous event. Chad Ramey narrowly missed out on the top 5, finishing in sixth place.

Pendrith’s win guarantees him spots in upcoming events such as the Wells Fargo Championship, Memorial Tournament, and Travelers Championship. Kohles and Noren also earned their spots in the Wells Fargo Championship through the Aon Swing 5 system.
