At 48 years old, St. Louis is a Canadian hockey legend who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018. He won a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004 and a Hart Memorial Trophy as league MVP in the same year. His coaching record with the Canadiens stands at 75-100-26 as the team undergoes a rebuilding phase.
In his first NHL coaching role, St. Louis is working to lead the team back to success and establish a winning culture in Montreal. Despite missing the playoffs for the past three seasons, including this year when they finished last in the Atlantic Division with a record of 30-36-16, St. Louis remains optimistic about the future of the team.
