John Deere Set to Compensate Chief Tractor Officer with up to $192K

John Deere, a prominent agricultural equipment company, is on the hunt for a new Chief Tractor Officer. This executive will be responsible for launching the company’s new TikTok channel, targeting younger consumers through social media content. The competition is open until April 29, and the finalists will be selected after May 17.

The company’s global director of strategic public relations, Jen Hartmann, emphasized the importance of acknowledging the role of workers in our daily lives. To kick off this search, John Deere enlisted NFL quarterback Brock Purdy in a video where he attempted to embark on a road trip in an industrial tractor. Although Purdy may not be able to take on the role due to his busy football schedule, the video highlights the interest shown by other athletes and influencers in this unique opportunity.

Interested applicants must submit a 60-second video pitch by April 29 at midnight. They must reside in the 48 contiguous states or DC and not be from Hawaii or Alaska. AI-generated submissions are not permitted. The videos will be judged based on their originality, creativity, quality, and brand knowledge, with five finalists to be chosen and notified after May 17.
