Beavers victorious in latest game

On Thursday, Beaver Local dominated East Palestine with 11 hits leading to an impressive 11-1 victory. Coach Mark Cashdollar emphasized the importance of hitting for his team’s success, as it made a significant difference in their performance. The Beavers improved to 4-8 after the win, while East Palestine fell to 2-4.

Delaney Morris had a crucial role in the game, scoring two runs and contributing three RBIs with a double. She spoke about the importance of clearing her mind to contribute to her team’s success. Sydney Wilson-Plunkett also played well, with two hits and three RBIs, including a single that helped give Beaver Local the lead.

Other players like Addison Eells, Lora Reeder, and several others also contributed with hits, RBIs, and runs scored. Eells pitched a solid game, allowing no earned runs on one hit with five strikeouts.

East Palestine initially took the lead in the first inning but struggled to generate hits for the rest of the game. Coach Clarence Andre acknowledged the tough competition Beaver Local presented and highlighted the importance of making defensive plays.
