Nominations Wanted for Austin Tech Hall of Fame Awards by The Austin Technology Council

Austin’s technology community has always been driven by visionary entrepreneurs, community leaders, and innovators who have played key roles in establishing the city as a thriving hub for tech. Now, the Austin Technology Council (ATC) is seeking nominations for its annual “Austin Tech Hall of Fame” awards ceremony. These awards are an important part of the council’s efforts to honor the past, recognize the present, and influence the future of Austin’s technology industry.

Nominations for the awards can be submitted via the ATC website and ATC is urging members of the tech industry to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the field. The goal is to highlight the accomplishments of those who have played key roles in establishing Austin as a tech powerhouse.

The inaugural induction ceremony and cocktail reception for the Austin Tech Hall of Fame will be held on June 4th. The event will honor six “legacy inductees” as well as present the “first-time founder award”. The selection of inductees will be made by ATC’s board of directors. Scott Francis, founder and CEO of BP3 Global and board chair of the ATC, highlighted the significance of this program in recognizing the history of Austin’s technology community. He stressed that connecting with the past is important to inspire and support current and future entrepreneurs in Austin.
