Webinar: Utilizing a Comprehensive Worker Health Strategy to Evaluate the Wellbeing of Agricultural Workers

In the San Luis Valley, Colorado, community leaders have expressed growing concerns about the behavioral health of workers in the agriculture industry. To address this issue, we utilized the Total Worker Health® and Total Farmer Health® frameworks to develop an interactive worker wellbeing assessment. A total of 118 participants completed the survey, providing enough data for analysis.

The intended audience for this training includes agricultural industry leaders, health providers, and behavioral health clinicians. By the end of the training, participants should be able to identify sources of stress for agriculture workers in the San Luis Valley, recognize different levels of behavioral health risk factors, behaviors, and outcomes, and evaluate behavioral health from a work-centric perspective.

This presentation will focus on assessing worker wellbeing by evaluating factors such as job satisfaction, coworker support, work affect, work fatigue, overall health status, chronic health conditions
