In recent years, Advent Technologies has made significant advancements in high-temperature PEM (HT-PEM) fuel cell solutions. The company’s efforts towards clean electrification have been rewarded with major milestones, including their collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company to integrate their membrane electrode assembly (MEA) technology into fuel cell solutions for heavy-duty automotive and stationary applications. This partnership began in March 2023 and has allowed Advent to make strides in the automotive industry.
In addition to their collaboration with Hyundai, Advent also opened an R&D and manufacturing facility in Charlestown, MA in March 2023. This facility has enabled the company to further develop their HT-PEM fuel cell technology and move closer to commercialization.
