The Chattanooga Police Department has released an update on the shooting incident that took place at the 900 block of Eastgate Circle. The victim, who is 27 years old, is currently in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. CPD’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting and is asking anyone with information to contact them at 423-698-2525.
According to a previous report, the shooting was a targeted incident and occurred at approximately 10:00am on Friday when one or more suspects began shooting. The victim was quickly transported to the hospital for treatment. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
