In response to this, the Budapest Declaration adopted by countries in the WHO European Region emphasizes the promotion of healthy, safe, climate-friendly, and inclusive mobility and transport.
Now, there is a call for action to take advantage of these favorable conditions and bring about transformative change in Europe through local clean transport solutions that prioritize health, safety, and climate-friendliness. The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) is hosting an informative event to explore the crucial interdependencies between clean mobility policies and health outcomes. These are seen as essential for driving transformative change from the city level to the European level beyond 2024.
