UC Health Introduces Climate Pledge Progress Report

UC Health is working to address the global imperative of addressing climate change in the healthcare sector. This is not just about responding to environmental challenges, but also about protecting the health and well-being of individuals worldwide. To show their commitment, UC Health has signed the White House and Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Sector Climate Pledge and is developing comprehensive and equity-focused climate resilience plans across their system.

Collaborating with over 130 other organizations and 900 hospitals, UC Health is working to address climate change challenges in the health sector. They are committed to creating a sustainable and climate-resilient healthcare system for the communities they serve. To demonstrate their progress, UC Health has released a report highlighting advancements made in individual Health Centers and outlining next steps in their resilience planning journey.
