DHA seeks proposals for commercial technologies to modernize Military Health System

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is on a mission to revolutionize patient care within the Military Health System Information Portal. The agency is currently looking for commercial platforms that can help improve the patient experience and streamline data collection for its beneficiaries.

DHA’s patient care transformation initiative is focused on three key areas. First, the agency aims to enhance patient care by providing easy access to care and services through commercial technology that seamlessly integrates with existing electronic health records and is compatible with wearables and other devices. This technology will make it easier for patients to access the care they need, when they need it.

In addition to enhancing patient care, DHA also plans to expand the Health Ecosystem by introducing new applications for scheduling, virtual nursing telemetry, remote patient monitoring, and hospital command centers. These tools will help reduce administrative burden on DHA’s workforce and improve overall efficiency within the system.

Finally, DHA wants to give MHS users access to their own health data in order to aid in decision-making processes. The agency is looking for technologies that allow users to manipulate and present this data effectively. This will empower patients to take a more active role in their own health and well-being.

Interested parties have until May 1st to submit their responses to DHA’s request for commercial platforms designed to enhance the patient experience and improve data collection within the Military Health System Information Portal.
