Cast Your Vote for the Upstate’s Female Athlete of the Week

Here are the top performers in Upstate high school athletics from April 22-28. Vote for your favorite athlete in the polls closing at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Autumn Burrell, Hillcrest: Burrell had a standout performance at the Greenville County track and field championships, winning the 100 meters (12.65) and the 200 meters (25.05).

Nia Glover, Spartanburg: Glover set a new Spartanburg County championship record in the 400 meters with a time of 56.74.

Meg Griffin, Belton-Honea Path: Griffin was impressive on the softball field, going 7-for-7 with a home run and five steals in two games.

Sydney Price, Landrum: Price had an impressive outing on both offense and defense in a softball win against Blacksburg, hitting 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs while also pitching a complete game.

Addison Sharp, T.L. Hanna: Sharp was outstanding in softball as well, pitching two shutouts with 22 strikeouts and leading his team to wins over Dorman and Westside both 3-0.

Madison Stanley, Wren: Stanley’s performance on the soccer field was equally impressive as she scored all four goals in a win over Fountain Inn by a final score of 4-2
