The White House requests explanations from Israel on Gaza graves and calls for transparent inquiry

The White House has expressed concern and a desire for answers from Israel regarding the discovery of mass graves in two hospitals in the Gaza Strip. They have stressed the importance of a thorough and transparent investigation into the events that led to the discovery of over 300 bodies in Naser Hospital in Khan Younis and another 30 bodies in Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated that the information is very concerning and that they have been in contact with the Israeli Government at multiple levels to seek detailed information about the circumstances surrounding the mass graves. The White House is calling for a comprehensive investigation so that everyone, including the United States, can have a clear understanding of what occurred.

The Gaza Strip authorities, controlled by Hamas, discovered more than 320 bodies in graves at Naser Hospital in Khan Younis and another 30 bodies in Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. While Israeli Army has denied accusations stating they examined mortal remains as part of their efforts during raid to locate hostages, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has called for an independent and transparent investigation into findings.

In light of these disturbing discoveries, there is an urgent need for a thorough examination of events that unfolded in Gaza Strip hospitals. Both White House and UN are calling for transparency and accountability to fully understand this troubling situation.
