Supervisory board member resigns after only five days

Karin Exner-Wöhrer, a supervisory board member of Signa Prime, has resigned from her position. She informed the heads of the supervisory board and restructuring administrators of both companies, Prime and Development, of her decision to step down four weeks after notifying them. This follows reports of agreements not being kept and uncertainties surrounding supervisory board remuneration.

The Signa Prime supervisory board was recently downsized from eight to five members with the addition of Michael Mitterdorfer and Sebastian Schäfer. Schäfer is a lawyer who previously worked at Credit Suisse Group and now works for Kühne Holding AG, bringing expertise in restructuring to the board. The other continuing members include Michael Siefert from Madison International Realty and Jürgen-Johann Rupp from German RAG, making a total of four members with Exner-Wöhrer’s departure.

Signa has not commented on the situation, while Exner-Wöhrer has remained quiet about her reasons for resignation.
