Limited Seats Left for Spotlight on Small Business Event

The first Safford Spotlight on Small Business event is just around the corner, and only a few seats remain available. Taking place at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Monday, April 1, this event offers small business owners an unparalleled opportunity to connect with city officials and discuss how the city can better support their growth.

The event will feature keynote speakers such as Safford Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella, along with other city staff members. Attendees will have the chance to share their successes and challenges with these leaders, as well as learn more about key topics such as business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new reporting requirements for the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS.

Even experienced small business owners can benefit from this event, as Mayor Ortega emphasized the importance of continuous learning and improvement. The day begins with a continental breakfast and networking opportunities at 7 a.m., followed by a 90-minute program at 7:30 a.m.

Admission to this event is completely free, but seats must be reserved online through Eventbrite before they are all gone. This event is proudly sponsored by the City of Safford, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and the Safford Downtown Association. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with local leaders and take your small business to new heights!
