Henry has surpassed 300 carries in a season three times in his career, including an impressive 378 carries in 2020 when he rushed for 2,027 yards in a 16-game season. With the NFL extending the regular season to 17 games, a player needs to average 17.7 carries per game to reach 300 carries for the year.
Monken highlights that keeping Henry healthy throughout the entire season is crucial for his success as a focal point of the offense in fourth quarter situations. While quarterback Lamar Jackson remains the key player in Ravens’ offense, Henry could become an important part of their strategy as they look to build significant leads and close out games with his powerful running style.
