Oakland Raiders considering relocating training camp to Southern California at Jack Hammett Sports Complex

The Raiders are reportedly considering relocating their 2024 training camp from Henderson to Southern California. According to Bonsignore & Hill of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, the team is currently in discussions with the city of Costa Mesa about using the Jack Hammett Sports Complex for this summer’s camp.

Since their move to Las Vegas in 2020, the Raiders have been utilizing their Henderson practice facility as their training camp site. If approved, the agreement with Costa Mesa would see the Raiders pay $165,000 in rent to the city and an additional $600,000 for field improvements at the sports complex. Practices are expected to be open to the public, providing fans with a unique opportunity to watch the team prepare for the upcoming season.

This potential move would see the Raiders join four other NFL teams in training within 100 miles of each other in Southern California. The decision to relocate their training camp to Costa Mesa signifies their commitment to providing optimal conditions for their players as they prepare for the season ahead.
