SRU to Host Expert Panel on Population Health, April 25th

On April 25 at 6 p.m., Slippery Rock University is hosting a panel discussion about population health at the Smith Student Center Ballroom. The expert panelists will discuss how population health is transforming the health care sector. This event is free and open to the public.

The panel will feature four leaders in the region’s health care sector, including two SRU alumni. Michael Grace, Dan LaVallee, David Tupponce, and Stacey Vaccaro will share their insights during the discussion.

This event is sponsored by SRU’s Health Care Administration and Management Department, the College of Health Professions, and the Future Health Care Leaders of SRU student organization. David Jordan, SRU professor of health care administration and management, emphasized the importance of population health initiatives and how they are linked to social determinants of health care.
