Mondo Duplantis shatters pole vault world record for the eighth time

Swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis broke the men’s pole vault world record for the eighth time at a Diamond League meet in Xiamen, China. He cleared an impressive 6.24 meters (20 feet, 5 inches) to earn bonus money with each new record.
