However, she did attend the CTG: The Gala 2024 event where she presented an honor to director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. The event is an annual fundraiser that supports the Center Theatre Group’s mission of producing and presenting high-quality theatre, nurturing new artists, attracting audiences, and offering youth outreach and arts education programs in Los Angeles.
Streisand has since apologized for her insensitive comment and acknowledged that it was not appropriate to ask such a personal question without knowing all the facts.
